Letizia Bonomi

My name is Letizia, I am 32 years old, I live in a countryside near Parma and I am a Physics and Maths teacher.

Besides science, I love music and direct contact with nature, travel, going for walks, and... I am also attracted to the bucolic life: I could say that in August 2008, an experience of harvesting wine grapes, has almost changed my life!

I am facinated by oriental philosophies: I think that this thinking shows great interest in the feelings of a human being, through a more holistic vision.
I hope that one day, these oriental philosophies and ours will be unified, and that may arise a new knowledge, more comprehensive and closer at the same time to body and mind, to our emotions, perceptions and realisations.

I am currently involved in a voluntary non-profit association, called “Il Cecalibro”, which organizes the project “Libero Ateneo del Taro”: some teachers, all volunteers, hold courses of different kind in my town and in neighboring towns.The project Libero Ateneo del Taro aims to promote the exchange of knowledge, and to “become protagonists of our own cultural way”.

The meeting of new people, which means meeting of new ideas, new ways of thinking, or new ways of solving problems, is one of the most wonderful things we can find out!

Mi chiamo Letizia, ho 32 anni, abito in campagna in un paese vicino a Parma, e sono un'insegnante di matematica e fisica.

A parte la scienza, amo la musica, il contatto diretto con la natura, viaggiare, fare passeggiate e... sono attratta dalla vita bucolica: potrei affermare che un’esperienza di vendemmia, nell’agosto del 2008, mi ha quasi cambiato la vita!

Sono affascinata dalle filosofie orientali: penso che queste siano molto attente al nostro sentire.
Spero che, un giorno, queste conoscenze e la nostra cultura vengano unificate, e che possa nascere un’unica grande conoscenza, più completa e attenta contemporaneamente al corpo e alla mente, alle nostre emozioni, intuizioni e percezioni.

Al momento sono impegnata in un’associazione di volontariato non-profit, “Il Cercalibro”, che organizza un progetto chiamato Libero Ateneo del Taro: alcuni insegnanti, volontari, tengono corsi di vario tipo, nel mio paese e in paesi limitrofi. Il progetto Libero Ateneo del Taro vuole favorire lo scambio di conoscenze, e il “diventare protagonisti del proprio cammino culturale”.

L’incontro di nuove persone, che si traduce in incontro di nuove idee, di nuovi modi di pensare, o anche semplicemente di nuovi modi per risolvere un problema, è una delle cose più belle che si possano scoprire!
